What You Should Know Before You Buy Liquid Vitamins

These days liquid vitamins are being advertised everywhere online, and so it is difficult to avoid hearing something about them. In this article, we are going to take a look at some information you should know before you buy liquid vitamins.

An example of one of the most popular liquid vitamins is the Seasilver. However, there has been action filed against this company by the FTC so there is a possibility that it may no longer be available. As it is claimed by several of these companies as well as their distributors, liquid vitamin supplements possess almost a complete absorption rate, which is normally quoted at 98%.

There is also another claim about vitamin supplements that is associated with this one: 90% of the nutrients that you take with most pill or tablet forms are truly going right down the drain, leaving you with a very minimal absorption rate. Are all of the claims really true? Are there any real benefits to these liquid vitamins? Are there any drawbacks?

First, take a look at the claims that are made by liquid vitamin supplements that state that all of the supplements that are taken within a pill or tablet form are 90% wasted or excreted. In all honesty, this statement is very misleading because within the quality of the supplement, there is a huge variation of manufacturers.

On one end of the spectrum, there are the mass produced cheap vitamins that are sold within the supermarket chains. All of these supplements are created by using the cheapest ingredients possible along with the cheapest excipients. Since there are excipients used, the nutrients are going to mostly be released within the stomach and because of that they are going to be destroyed by stomach acid.

With these low quality supplements, it is true that 90% or more of the vitamins are going to be wasted. However, you have to take into consideration that at the other end of the spectrum, there are some fine companies that manufacture supplements that are highly sophisticated, which are often referred to as nutraceuticals. All of these companies are known to use potent, all-natural ingredients that are extremely expensive, and are known to have absorption rates above 90%.

There are indeed some supplements that because of this difference, do possess delivery systems that are highly sophisticated. In conclusion, it is very dishonest for manufacturers of liquid vitamins to attempt to make a claim that all of the supplements in the pill or tablet form have a poor absorption level.

Before you decide to buy liquid vitamins it is advisable to shop around and compare all your options, both liquid and tablet form. You will likely find that comparing the variety of supermarket vitamins to the sophisticated nutraceuticals is similar to comparing apples to oranges. In the end, you will want to choose a supplement that not only has a high absorption rate, preferably above 90%, but that also complements your preferences and lifestyle. If you find drinking a supplement to be more enjoyable, then liquid vitamins are for you. If you prefer the convenience of taking your vitamins when you are on the go, you may want to consider the tablet form. Perhaps a combination of the two forms may be your best option!
